Week 1: Rooted in Resources

We begin by cultivating a foundation of inner & outer resources to anchor us throughout the course. This week focuses on "do-ability," helping you connect to simple, accessible tools that offer support and regulation in everyday life. By building small, resourcing moments, we strengthen our capacity for ease and resilience.

Week 2: Present Moment Awareness

Trauma can interrupt the brain's awareness of the body. This week, we’ll dive into interoception, the practice of noticing that you have a body, to rewire neural networks and foster a deep sense of "I exist." By staying curious and rooted in the present moment, we begin building healthy self-esteem from the inside out.

Week 3: Empowered Action & Choice

Trauma often erodes our sense of agency and self-trust. This week, we’ll explore how making small choices can rebuild your confidence in your body’s ability to act with purpose. Through mindful decision-making, you will begin to reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom, moving from a sense of helplessness to an empowered awareness that you have options and the ability to create change, even in small ways.

Week 4: Rhythms of Healing

Rhythmic patterns naturally soothe and regulate the nervous system. Like the gentle rocking of a baby, we’ll explore how cultivating internal and external rhythms can foster balance. You’ll practice titrating and pendulating between sensations, allowing your body to soften and feel more grounded. By cooperating with and aligning with your natural biorhythms, you’ll learn how to work with your body’s innate flow to support greater harmony.

Week 6: Momentum of Healing

Life’s momentum can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially during moments of stress. This week, you’ll learn how to pause and center, using tools to shift from a reactive, emergency state to one of stability and balance. We’ll work on cultivating a healing vortex to bring harmony into your daily life, growing a momentum of health and wellness to counterbalance the natural momentum that trauma can create.

Week 7: Flowing with Transitions

Trauma can make transitions feel overwhelming as it manifests as physical rigidity in the body and a tendency toward "either/or" thinking in the mind. In contrast, a resilient nervous system flows with ease, allowing the muscles to tense or soften as needed, and fostering "both/and" thinking, which opens up more possibilities and helps us go with the flow. This week, we’ll explore how to soften and welcome change, whether in daily life or larger transitions. We’ll practice flowing with transitions, cultivating flexibility and ease, both physically and emotionally.
